Forever Nature Fund: Bullock Bridge Appeal
December 15, 2023

In 2022, we established the Forever Nature Fund to tackle the ongoing loss of our precious habitats and ecosystems. To make our contribution to this vision, we have set ourselves the ambitious target to double our impact to 1 million hectares of protected land (about 1% of South Australia) by 2030—in support of Australia's commitment to protecting 30% of land and sea by 2030 by purchasing land with high biodiversity value to create more critical refuges for Australian wildlife.

Recently, internationally renowned scientist and birdwatcher Professor Hugh Possingham brought to our attention a small but highly significant bushland parcel for sale in southeast South Australia.

Expanding the team with two Aboriginal trainees
December 13, 2023

Kids on Country has a tremendous impact on Aboriginal young people in high schools across South Australia. School feedback is overwhelmingly positive, and the list of returning schools wanting to participate grows each year. Through Aboriginal networking days within the Department for Education South Australia, our reputation for providing a culturally safe Junior Ranger program is spreading, with new schools contacting us weekly.
