Read our latest newsletter – Nature Matters: Autumn 2024

May 13, 2024

We are pleased to share our autumn edition of Nature Matters with you.

In this issue, we share updates from across our nature reserves, including insights from the baseline flora and fauna survey at Murbpook Nature Reserve, and positive conservation results from further afield, including the Kangaroo Island Feral Cat Eradication Program achievements and revegetation at Gidgealpa SEB offset.

We introduce our Kids on Country™ Aboriginal Advisory Group and share project reports from two of our 2023 student research grant recipients.

Early autumn has seen events taking place, and we share details of these, along with profiles of a new team member and a long-time supporter.

This edition includes valuable tips for getting started with or improving your nature photography and bird watching skills. We also provide a science-based answer to the question: is spending time in nature actually good for our health?

We have commenced our 2024 Vital Work Appeal and greatly appreciate any donations you are able to provide towards supporting our conservation work.

We hope you enjoy reading this issue. Please let us know if you have any feedback or would like any further information.
