The Birds in Backyards winter survey is now open, and in just 20 minutes you can contribute valuable data to help Australia's birds.

Using the Birdata website or app, simply record what species and quantity of birds you see in your local area, your yard, park, school or just out and about!

The purpose of these surveys is to help scientists learn more about birds in urban areas.
