Research Grants

Nature Foundation's Research Grants Program is currently closed to applications. The next grants round will be announced on this page.

Nature Foundation undertakes a regular grants program, funded by donations from our generous supporters. Our grants program proudly funds research that contributes to the conservation of South Australia’s biodiversity and habitats, and supports university students and researchers in their work and careers. We prioritise grants that align with our Science Strategy and focus on our nature reserves, our conservation programs or our Water For Nature program.

Since 2003 Nature Foundation has awarded university students, universities and other research institutions with 418 grants totalling more than $1.7 million in the field of biological sciences.
A range of diverse research projects has been funded over the years – click here to view reports and case studies from previous research.
